Day Care Surgeries are a new and leading model of surgical procedures that are changing existing medical practices in Pakistan. A patient who undergoes a day care surgery recovers and is fit to return home within a day. This reduces chances of infections, increases cost-efficiency and decreases hospital stays.

SIUT's day-care surgery department is fully equipped to perform all advanced endoscopic and laproscopic procedures. Currently, we perform over 30 procedures daily which include cystoscopies, biopsies, ureter-renoscopies and DJ placements among other techniques. We have the latest technology and equipment to provide our patients with the finest treatment. For example, currently SIUT uses Ureterscopic Lasertripsy to perform several procedures.
