Introduction

The Hanifa Suleman Dawood Urology and Transplany Oncology centre is equipped to treat patients with urological malignancies and post-transplant cancers. The Oncology Centre was built in the year 2006. It was a Rs. 500 million and was made possible by land donation from the City Government, and generous monetary support from the Suleman Dawood family. This seven-storey structure is connected by bridges on the 2nd and 5th floors to the Dewan Farooq Medical Complex.

Equipment

The Hanifa Suleman Oncology Centre has modern facilities to treat cancers, including Linear Accelerator, Brachytherapy, Surgical and Medical Oncology. It is also equipped with in-patient and out-patient units, chemo bay and radiotherapy units.
