In-PatientNephrology

Our Nephrology ward admits an average of 180 patients per month. Here, we manage a large number of patients with renal failure and those in need of dialysis. Six hemodialysis machines are exclusively stationed in this ward to provide bed-side dialysis.

We have a team of highly qualified and experienced medical consultants who actively participate in managing patients. They design and implement infection-control methods and are also an integral part of our transplant team.

A Diabetologist conducts a weekly diabetes clinic at SIUT, to help diabetic patients who are undergoing dialysis or kidney transplants.

Four, full-time dietary consultants provide nutritional plans to patients with renal failure and transplant patients. In a multi-disciplinary approach, they work with our nephrologists and other consultants to provide comprehensive care to patients.
