Since 2006 the School of Nursing has been running a 1 year course for Nursing Assistants, a 3 year program for General Nursing. The first program of its kind in Pakistan, a one year course leading to a Post-RN Diploma in Specialist Renal Nursing was developed in 2009-2010 and is about to admit the first students. The course covers four areas of Nursing in Urology, Nephrology, Dialysis (Haemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis), and Transplantation Nursing.

The School is in the process of expansion and has skills labs as well as a library of nursing that includes two specialist journals.
