• National Workshop on Strengthening Ethical Review Committees 17 Nov, 2011 The Centre of Biomedical Ethics and Culture (CBEC) inaugurated a three day workshop entitled "National Workshop on Strengthening Ethical Review Committees" in collaboration with EMR-WHO and PMRC.
• SIUT Extends Training Facilities to Sudanese Doctors 23 Sep, 2011 Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation (SIUT) has completed a highly specialized training program for a group of six doctors from Sudan in the field of Nephrology.
• SIUT pays tribute to Pakistan's first deceased liver transplant team 20 Sep, 2011 Dr Adib Rizvi traced the historical development of transplantation surgery in Pakistan, and greatly commended Dr Bangash and his team for achieving the remarkable feat.

• 22nd and 23rd Student Volunteer Program 24 Jun, 2011 The SIUT held its 22nd and 23rd Student Volunteer Program from the 13th to the 24th of June, 2011. 205 students from government and private schools all over Karachi participated in the programs.

• Flood Relief 05 Aug, 2010 SIUT has assisted 130,273 and has set up 10 camps with mobile teams, of which 3 have evolved into Field Hospitals equipped with laboratory, ultra sound and minor surgery facility.
