Disaster Related Research Ethics Conference and Bioethics Course, Colombo, Srilanka

Aamir Jafarey was a member of an International working group constituted to formulate guidelines for research in disaster situations. This 3 day meeting was held together with a 2 day course on teaching bioethics to researchers.

This conference was organized by Korean National Commission for UNESCO and the Korean Ministry of Health and Welfare. There were 24 participants from the Asia-Pacific region and Aamir Jafarey was representing CBEC.
