This project is in its advanced stage of finishing. This institute will house facilities such as Emergency, Out Patient Services, Dialysis, Lithotripsy, Surgery, Laboratory and Radiology to the meet the demands of local and surrounding regions. This project is strategically located since Sukkur is a hub for Balochistan, the lower Punjab and Sindh.
This project is envisioned as a satellite dialysis center with all the required supporting services and will include consulting clinics and facility for minor surgical procedure. This building has been very kindly donated by APWA and is located to the West of Karachi and will be a great convenience to the densely populated region.
Increasing the scope of transplantation in Pakistan by expanding into liver and bone marrow transplantation and in the future will include other organs as well.
SIUT will develop an Institute of Transplantation Sciences and Biotechnology in Kathore on a 100 acre plot, 40 kilometers away from Karachi. Besides a hospital, this institute will house a training and research center for postgraduates, nurses, technologists and technicians.
