With three transplants surgeries performed every week. Our success rate is over 90% in the first year,comparable with any transplant center in the world. The health of transplant recipet as well is donor is SIUT’s responsibility for life of both, which means all consultations and medication post surgery are provided free of cost to both.

Liver:

The first successful liver transplantation surgery in Pakistan was performed in 2004 on master Sohaib (Six month old) from Rawlakot Azad Kashmir at SIUt the patient is going very well 2 ½ years after surgery.
